Feet for Supper?!?!?!?!?

While we were in Georgia, my Mom wanted to share this yummy chicken she had found at a local grocery store with us. I forget what the chicken is called but I think it had spinach and cheese and as you can see, it's wrapped in pastry. I baked it like she said and the house smelled wonderful. I was nervous about the kids because it was new and when it comes to food my family prefers old not new. Not much sense of adventure in the food department for our household. They get it from their Dad who is adventuresome about EVERYTHING but food.

But I digress, the kids thought it smelled really great and were very willing to try it. I pulled it out of the oven and my very anxious and youngest foodie took one look and said, "Mommy, it looks like feet!" To which, of course, someone had to point out that it had six toes!
I was so glad we were at my parent's house. We surely did cut off all his toes, ate every one, and devoured the whole foot! It goes without saying that my crew doesn't go to dinner parties. EVER!
